So, after a few weeks in Poland (one week this time), you experience this specific moment when you realise how much you appreciate the rest of the world. How much you appreciate kindness in people. I can honestly say that I have never in my life met worse people than the polish. I don't like Indonesians, but compared to the Polish they are saints. Every time I get back to Warsaw I try my best to be nice and helpful towards strangers on the bus or whatever cause I don't want to end up like them. It usually lasts a few weeks then I become just like them. Why? The golden rule I guess.
So when you get a secret satisfaction when someone runs like hell to the bus and the bus driver closes the doors juuuust when that person is about to step on to the bus, you know that Poland has affected you. If you start ignoring people who wants to ask you for directions, also Poland has affected you. And if you on purpose push people in the subway just to get through, Poland has affected you.
To all my international friends (polish parents or not ;)), I do not know what I would do without you!
